I just transferred from what I am used to: WORDPRESS, to their new thing JETPACK. Okay: done.

Then I thought: let me revamp my http://www.willyholmesspoelder.com a bit. New template, that I did, looks nice. Then: I noticed: omg some ancient lines appear right there, so: out!! DELETE it. But: no way I can get rid of them. Grr.

So… I am growling a bit, wishing to have a website that I like, and that I can handle, and super fast make some changes to. Not being able to do this: makes me NERVOUS.

Writing, uploading a picture, a heading: I can do, fast, but the technical stuff: I am really more than STUPID, clumsy!! WordPress should publish a book: WORDPRESS FOR DUMMIES!

Oh, what I did find: TRASHING old blogs!!! That worked well: I LOVE ❤ 😍 💖 ❣ cleaning up CLUTTER, old hat stuff.

Anyway: the truth is: I did not want to CHANGE things: I actually LIKED the indeed most probably ANCIENT layout of blogs: right side: you can SEE the posts, latest at the top, months, years, categories.

Note: I checked my http://www.willyholmesspoelder.com in the Google search engine too, to check what comes up, & how that looks. That works. What also came up: Google has been INDEXING my site for 10 years!! Haha 😄 🤣 I laughed. Why? Well: when you FEEL STUPID, because you just cannot DO a bit of crappy technical adjustments YOURSELF, despite the great technology at WordPress: at least that: 10 years in the Google index, made me feel better.

And: I am NOT anti-Google, nor paranoia they store and index everything! Privacy & security do matter of course, at home 🏡, for me as one individual.
